Hiring A Marquee For Your Corporate Event

If you are holding a corporate event this summer why not hold it outside.  Providing the weather is nice, you will be able to hold your corporate event outside and this is something that will benefit you as good weather, wine and food will help to give a good impression and helps put people in a relaxed, friendly mood.  The one thing you will need is a Marquee as this will give you a place to get out of the sun and hopefully not the rain as well as providing you with a place to show presentations etc.  Hiring a marquee is simple you just need to find a good marquee hire company and work out what you require for your event.

You need to have an idea of the size of marquee you will need to hire as an example a 6m x 15m frame marquee can fit a few more than 100 guests standing, or about 60 where the guests are seated and a dance floor, with a larger marquee – e.g. a 12m x 24m frame marquee can fit around 350 guests standing or 175 people seated again with a dance floor. The easiest way to calculate the size of marquee you will require is to work backwards, you know how many guests you invited so from this we can calculate what size marquee you will require.

The reputable Marquee Hirers use qualified electricians whom are specialists in installing power for outdoor events, often it is possible to link into the main fuse board of the nearest building and run a high capacity power cable to the marquee with a distribution board at the end, remember this should only be done by a qualified electrician.  If you are planning on using any portable appliences then it would also be a good idea to make sure that they have been PAT tested by a certified PAT Testing company as you don’t want any problems if it starts raining.
